KEY ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST
OBJECTIVES
- To Provide Technical Support and Project Management for our C&I members and all prospective C&I members.
- To lead the Warren RECC Economic Development Program and serve as the face for the cooperative with state, local, and TVA economic developers.
- To Ensure Contract and Deposit Compliance with Warren RECC Policies and Procedures for our C&I Members
- To Serve as the key contact between Warren RECC and our C&I members.
- To lead Warren RECC/TVA incentive programs as they relate to C&I members.
- To maintain relationships with our Top C&I Accounts.
- To Stay Apprised of all developments in Sustainability Programs and innovative electric system technology available to C&I Members
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Senior Manager of Engineering
Works With: Key Accounts Coordinator
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leads Projects and conducts regular project meetings related to the electric service for all C&I Accounts.
- Provides Technical and Power Quality support to meet the needs of C&I Members.
- Utilizes the TVA Comprehensive Services Program to maximize value to the C&I Members.
- Able to provide Fault Current/Short Circuit Coordination/Utility Fault Contribution to C&I Members.
- Coordinates Preventative Maintenance for all Warren RECC owned equipment located at C&I Facilities (i.e. Infrared Scans, Dissolved Gas Analysis, etc.).
- Understands and able to communicate Industrial rates to all C&I Members.
- Develops criteria for and maintains list of Key Accounts to include all appropriate employee contact information.
- Responds to all Economic Development requests for Warren RECC.
- Builds relationships with local Economic Development Associations as well as state and TVA Economic Development teams.
- Maintains C&I power contracts in compliance with TVA Rules and Regulations and Warren RECC Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains C&I deposit requirements in compliance with TVA Rules and Regulations and Warren RECC Policies and Procedures.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationship with Key Accounts that aligns with Warren RECC objectives.
- Serves as the primary single point of contact for Warren RECC Key Accounts and looks for proactive communication opportunities to enhance value to key accounts.
- Works with Key Accounts Coordinator on TVA C&I incentive programs including investment credits, performance grants, manufacturing credits, etc.
- Monitors emerging technologies to position Warren RECC and our members to be on the leading edge of sustainability and innovation for our C&I accounts.
- Maintains close communications and involves District Managers as it relates to Key Accounts in their districts.
- Proactively looks for opportunities that supports the long-term success of Key Accounts through potential participation in incentive programs, use of the comprehensive service program, and other opportunities that may exist to improve or enhance customer satisfaction.
- Schedules and conducts regular meetings including an annual luncheon with Key Accounts to build relationships, review incentive opportunities, and to offer assistance as needed.
- Maintains proficient understanding of TVA rules and regulations, and applicable rate schedules.
- Works according to safety rules and policies adopted by Warren RECC, is responsible for own safety, and reports all accidents to supervisor.
- Complies with traffic laws, regulations, and safe practices while operating company vehicles.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
POSITION Key Accounts Specialist
EDUCATION Technical school or two-year college graduate with completion of courses that support job qualifications, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required. Advanced training in power quality is desired. Engineering or advanced degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE Requires three years of manufacturing work experience with a background in power quality or other technical areas of expertise preferred. Additionally, three to five years electric utility preferred.
KNOWLEDGE Must have a working knowledge of utility operations. Must have a working knowledge of contract proposals, term and conditions, and execution. Must have a knowledge of Cooperative's policies relative to providing service to members. Must have a knowledge of first aid and must have successfully completed CPR and First Aid Course. Must have computer skills to access records quickly and efficiently.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS Must be able to work independently in fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Must have proficient knowledge of using computer systems. Must be able to work cohesively in a team-based environment. Must be able to lead, teach, and effectively communicate in large groups. Must possess Strong Emotional Intelligence. Must have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive personal information and respect members' right to privacy.
WORKING CONDITIONS Works in normal office conditions but will have frequent travel throughout the service territory. Must be able to attend outside on-site meetings as required.
OTHER Must have a valid driver's license.
