Provide general analytical support to the Financial Planning & Analysis team. Perform various financial, operational, real estate, treasury and investor relations analyses as requested. Assist with the forecasting and budgeting process.
Requires coordinating with and gathering information from various departments in the Company (primarily accounting and asset management) for use in financial projections and data analysis, reviewing financial reports for accuracy and trends, and other general property and portfolio management analyses as requested. Excellent communication skills, detail-orientation, team-player mentality, and the ability to work in a tight deadline environment are musts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis – to span across financial, operational, real estate, treasury and investor relations functions
Complete analyses for management in preparation for quarterly earnings calls and Board of Directors meetings
Assist in the corporate forecasting and budgeting processes
Help prepare corporate presentation materials for investor meetings
Maintain operational and financial analytics for the company, including evaluation of peer companies, market trends, and benchmark analysis
Adhere to deadlines, review information for accuracy and challenge the source, as necessary
Support strategic and financial decision making through data analysis from both a financial and an operational perspective
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent work experience
At least 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis or real estate analysis; recent graduates with very strong scholastic records may be considered
Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced level), MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Comprehension of accounting concepts a plus
Previous real estate experience a plus
Minimal travel

Ability to problem solve, with the drive to identify anomalies and research root causes independently
Team-player and strong communicator with all levels of the organization
