Founded in 1992, the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation (GBIC) is a Type A Economic Development Corporation whose mission is to promote economic growth in the southernmost region of Texas by empowering a young and skilled workforce and driving innovation to Brownsville and Cameron County.
