Working closely with and reporting to the Manager of Planning, the Planner will be responsible for the processing of planning applications under the Planning Act. The Planner is also responsible for providing planning advice and opinions to the Manager of Planning, Committee of Adjustment, Committee of the Whole, Administration, Council, and members of the public in connection with all aspects of planning and development within the Town. Major Responsibilities Pre-consult with applicants, conduct site inspections as required, research and prepare planning reports, and liaise with other municipal departments through the Technical Advisory Committee in order to appropriately process the following applications under the Planning Act: Site Plans
