Municipal Planner
The City of Temiskaming Shores is seeking applications from those who have a passion for challenging the norm in land use planning, thrive and adapt to changing priorities and to be at the forefront of championing forward thinking land use policies for the City of Temiskaming Shores. The Planner will guide the City’s growth and change through the Official Plan and work across the corporation and community to embark on new and improved ways to engage community and stakeholders in land use planning processes. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Planner will be responsible for ensuring that development and planning is facilitated and promoted in an effective, equitable and efficient manner in accordance with the Planning Act, Provincial Policy Statement, Growth Plan
