Vivarium Operations Supervisor
Under general direction of the Vivarium Operations Manager, the incumbent support the administration and operations of the Campus Vivaria, which includes a specific pathogen-free (SPF) rodent facility with strict biosecurity practices and standards. Currently there are several facilities supporting approximately 60 Principal Investigators (PIs) and housing ten animal species. The Vivarium Operations Supervisor will support the management of vivaria operations including directing environmental and routine care of all animals housed in the vivaria and ensuring and implementing changes in day-to-day operations as required to maintain continued compliance with the guidelines set forth by the various regulations (AWA, PHS Policies, Guide, etc.), and IACUC.
