Base Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 w/ annual increases based on performance.
Revenue Share: 5% of net revenue generated through you and your team’s projects/assignments.
Year-end bonus: Employee will be eligible to earn a bonus of 10% or 15% of total base salary if the Company collectively achieves specific total billable revenue goals set by the Company and outlined at the beginning of each Calendar Year.
Business Origination Commission: 10% of net revenue generated from any new client and work you originate for the company.
Estimated Total Compensation Year 1: (Salary + Bonus + Revenue Share): $155,000 - $185,000

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a full range of property assessment and tax consulting services to new and existing clients.
Attend appeal hearings at various levels including Assessor, Board and Court, as needed, to give expert evidence as required.
Continuously upgrade knowledge regarding market and industry trends, property assessment and taxation practices and procedures and legislation.
Assist the leadership team as needed with closing and/or sourcing new client and/or new service opportunities with new and existing clients.
Identify, pursue, and close new business development opportunities to meet ongoing sales goals.
Ensure employee development and continuous improvement efforts. Encourage employee satisfaction and retention of key talent. Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and motivation to the teams which facilitates business growth and service expansion. Communicate business direction to the teams and ensure alignment of individual goals to business goals. Ensure equitable distribution of work and the effective utilization of key talent.
The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Very good writing skills to complete comprehensive property assessment and tax consulting reports.
Very good knowledge/expertise in property assessment valuation and tax advisory.
Very good knowledge of the legislative rules for the determination of property assessment and taxes
Candidate must live within commuting distance of metropolitan Washington, DC
7+ years of related experience in property assessment and taxation.
Proactive, and organized to meet deadlines.
Very good knowledge of property assessment practices, policies and procedures and the legislative requirements governing them.
Unwavering desire to provide the best service and outcome for clients.
Resourceful, collaborative, and an inherent desire to innovate.
Excellent skills in assessment valuation modeling in Excel and other software programs as appropriate
