Reviews, researches, analyzes and formulates recommendations to Council relative to land use policy planning matters and communicates land use policy planning issues to the public in response to public inquiries. Reviews and analyzes Provincial legislation and policy changes and prepares reports and presents recommendations to Council considering the impact of same on the municipality; implements decisions rendered by Council. Prepares and co-ordinates the development of policy related documents and amendments including Official Plan Amendments, Secondary Plans and Zoning By-law Amendments.
