Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our pediatric inpatient and critical care team at Summerville Medical Center (SMC)â”just 30 minutes from Charleston!
Your Clinical Scope
6-bed PICU
Level III NICU support
Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away
Inpatient pediatric floor + ER consults
In-house days, home call at night
Teaching opportunities teaching: a family medicine residency program is now in its third year with residents participating about half of the year, 4.5 days per week
Schedule: flexible call schedule to accommodate family and personal needs
Comprehensive benefits which include medical, dental, vision, and 401k (Starts day 1!)
Work in a desirable climate with all four seasons close to the beach
Complimentary meals available daily
Level 3 NICU to support referral base
Subspecialty Support
Onsite: Pediatric Surgery, GI, ENT, Anesthesia
