Respond to Key Accounts member inquiries related to billing, electric use, rates, and associated policies and procedures and assist through regularly scheduled visits and frequent communication.
Handles daily service orders such as new construction connects, disconnects, reconnects, and transfers of service.
Process new online and in-person service applications.
Accurately determine deposit amounts for Key Account members.
Dispatches daily service orders through Mobil Workforce Management System.
Maintains Key Accounts profiles for each Key Account member.
Demonstrates an increasing knowledge and understanding of the industries in which the Key Accounts members operate.
Identifies trends or events which may present additional opportunities. Assists in developing programs, proposals and services, which will capitalize on these trends or events.
Communicate directly with field personnel to coordinate activities associated with connects/disconnects, non-payments, and collections.
Works with accounting, engineering and other departments to bring a team approach to solving Key Account member problems and needs.
Provide Key Account members information regarding services and scheduled actions from service department.
Protect and maintain confidentiality of member records.
Attendance of various seminars and conferences will be required.
Participates as an active team member by attending required meetings, showing respect for other team members, and contributing insights and opinions.
Responsible for following all safety policies, rules, and procedures.
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of experience with planning, sales, managing business accounts or economic development. Experience with electric utility industry is preferred.
Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
Must have the ability to work under pressure to complete multiple projects and accomplish objectives by specified deadlines.
Must have the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences and be able to speak clearly to convey information and ideas verbally so others will understand. Ability to read and understand sentences, paragraphs, information and ideas presented in writing.
Must possess a willingness to learn new procedures and skills.
Demonstrated abilities and skills operating a personal computer using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite applications to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Must have computer skills and be able to learn how to use Meridian and other utility management systems.
